The Prestige Awards is sponsored annually by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters to recognize outstanding achievements by Louisiana radio and television broadcasters.This competition was established to encourage the highest standards of reporting, community service and production creativity.

Join the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters in celebrating local radio and television stations' successes on March 14th for the 2018 Annual Prestige Awards Luncheon held at the Marriott in Baton Rouge. In addition to the awards luncheon, national speaker, Speed Marriott will be presenting "Embracing Digital Sales" before the awards luncheon. Registration is required to attend either or both of these events.

Winners of the 2017 Louisiana Association of Broadcasters’ (LAB) Prestige Awards were announced Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at the 2017 Prestige Awards Luncheon held at L’Auberge Casino and Hotel in Baton Rouge. The Prestige Awards welcomed over 200 guests to celebrate the works of Louisiana Broadcasters. The event was emceed by Tim Brando of Fox Sports, awards presented by Miss Louisiana, Justine Ker, and executed by John Williams, founder and CEO of JCW Productions.

 

The annual competition is sponsored by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters to recognize excellence in broadcasting and outstanding achievements by Louisiana radio and television broadcasters. This year the LAB received almost 300 entries, setting a new record.

“Our Prestige Awards is a true example of the excellence in Louisiana Broadcasting. 2016 in particular was a difficult year for our state and this event gives us a chance to recognize and thank our broadcasters for representing our communities in such extraordinary ways,” said LAB President and CEO, Polly Prince Johnson.
